About

I began drawing very young, instinctively, without effort. From the beginning, it was a place of calm and presence—a way to stay grounded when the world felt overwhelming. Through lines and details, I could retreat into a quiet inner space where time slowed and anxiety softened.

As my life moved through different cities, studies, and demanding professional environments, drawing remained my constant. I worked for years in international relations and public service across Europe, living a life shaped by discipline, pressure, and frequent transitions. During periods of displacement, loneliness, and emotional strain, I always returned to drawing. Over time, I understood that art was not simply something I did—it was essential to how I survived, processed experience, and stayed open.

My work is defined by miniature scale, meticulous detail, and slowness. I am drawn to the small and the intimate, to repetition, precision, and careful attention. I resist spectacle, choosing instead to create quiet spaces that ask for closeness and patience. This way of working reflects my own nature—reserved, sensitive, and deeply attentive to imbalance in the world.

After leaving a demanding institutional career, I returned to my hometown Sofia, where I shared my work publicly for the first time, exhibiting on the street where I was born and raised. Since then, I have continued to develop my practice through focused periods of creation and international exhibitions, including shows in Paris (Le Marais) and Palma de Mallorca.

Today, I live and work in Sofia. I shape my life slowly and intentionally, valuing solitude, care, and devotion to the process. My art is about staying soft in a world that often feels hard—about gentleness as strength, vulnerability as courage, and the quiet persistence of hope.
